LAMDA CLASSES
Qualifications in the Performing Arts
We are delighted to be an accredited LAMDA Centre. LAMDA Exams are well tailored to the abilities of students of different ages and help to support a steady improvement in self confidence, vocal and physical technique and language awareness. The classes are lots of fun and the students will be prepared for the expectations of the LAMDA exams.
At the higher levels, LAMDA Exams earn UCAS points to contribute towards University entry.
LAMDA ACTING
8 - 18 years old
LAMDA Acting classes use Drama to develop self confidence, physical presence and a strong speaking voice. We work hard on our memory skills by learning and performing monologues and duologue performances as well as developing knowledge of Theatre techniques, all of which works towards Acting exams of all levels.
LAMDA MUSICAL THEATRE
8 - 18 years old
Musical Theatre Solo and Duo Exam classes develop a safe vocal technique foundation and the student understanding how their voice works so they can manipulate different styles, qualities and be fully in control of their own sound as well as enhancing self confidence through singing and acting. The classes are lots of fun and the students will be well prepared for the expectations of the LAMDA exams
LAMDA PUBLIC SPEAKING
8 - 18 years old
LAMDA Public Speaking classes work towards the LAMDA graded exams in Public Speaking and are designed to develop the skills necessary for effective oral communication and public presentation. Our main focus is on oral language skills, technical skills and a good knowledge of oral communication skills.
